Claims Adjuster

Position Summary:
|
Benefits 1 Group is seeking a claims adjuster to provide self-insured services for our clients. Claim services provided by the adjuster will include: 3 point contact with parties to assigned claims in a timely fashion; recommendations to clients on claim and benefit acceptance and allowance; investigation and strategy work with client on short and long term impact of claims; referring medical bills to the appropriate vendor; ensuring all bills and benefits are paid timely; hearing assignments and preparation; and file maintenance that exceeds auditing standards.

Qualifications:
|
A minimum of 2 years as an Ohio self-insured adjuster required.
Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and other computer programs proficiently required. Proven ability to work in an organized and methodical manner to ensure department deadlines are met. Excellent communication, problem solving, organizational and negotiation skills required.
